3 months left of the Insta-Gratitude project. For any of you that are new, I’ll explain a little more.
After Christmas last year, I instantly missed the feeling of the holidays. The time in between Thanksgiving and Christmas is full of love and appreciation for family, friends and the things that people are blessed with each day. There are so many opportunities to talk about it. Once Christmas is done, the magic of the holidays is over and people stop thinking about it.
I decided to spend time every day this year taking a picture of something that day that I was grateful for and posting it on Instagram (@stephgregerson). The holidays are already flying up on us quickly, but I’m still loving this each and every day. That being said, here are the things I was especially grateful for this past week.
We snuck in a few happy hours last week with friends that we want to make sure and spend time with before leaving Minnesota. Good food, good drinks and great company.
Our weekend was spent with a few of our favorite kiddos. Thursday night, I caught Kennedy taking selfies on my phone – she’s almost three and she has this down. Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch with Holly’s family and then saw all 4 nieces Saturday evening. Sunday, we headed to Eau Claire for Jack’s first birthday.
And then here we are in New York City and northern New Jersey this week apartment hunting and meeting with some customers in the area. It has been a super productive week so far. Busy, busy, busy. That skyline though? It’s my favorite and I can’t wait to see it all the time instead of once a year.
What are you grateful for this week?

I love when kids play with your phone and leave you with adorable selfies. That skyline is fantastic, good luck with your apartment hunting!
I'm grateful for awesome city skylines and for the fact that I didn't die from exhaustion yesterday! Hope you find your new place today!
City skylines = coolest thing EVER. Incredibly jealous.
Except now that I think about it I live just outside Pittsburgh which also has a skyline. Sometimes I forget these things.
I am grateful that it is almost Thursday and that I have a few days off from teaching next week!
The sassy cat picture of your niece is fantastic. She nailed the appropriate cat face for that photo!
I didn't realize it was a year-long project! I hope you keep up with it next year, even if you transition it to monthly!
