Another great weekend with a wedding, a baby shower, a friend’s brand new house. So much to celebrate. So many happy people.
Friday night, we went to see Brady & Kelsey’s new house and enjoy a few beverages in their screen porch (I’m a tad jealous). There were a lots of laughs, some really good pizza and some quality times with the pups. Plus, we got some cookie cutters to use this Christmas. They know my husband so well.
I can’t even get over how beautiful the wedding was on Saturday night. Erin and Nick looked soooo happy. And the masks at the table… this picture below is my husband and one of my best friend’s moms. I had so much fun at the wedding that I was in bed at 8 PM Sunday evening. Those girls sure do know how to party.
It finally hit me this weekend how lucky I am to be surrounded by these people and how much I’m going to miss them when we move.
Sitting at the baby shower yesterday, I realized that I might not meet this little baby until he’s through his baby months. He might be a walking toddler before I get to meet him in person. How crazy is that? The last two months have been a little bit of a whirlwind. I never pictured in July that I would be living in a different part of the country in November.
Emotional roller coaster doesn’t really describe it because most of the time, I’m excited. But without fail, there are 5 minutes every day that I’m completely overwhelmed and stressed out and there are 5 minutes every day where I’m just sad. Ten minutes each day… that’s nothing really. I’d be fooling myself if I thought that it is not going to get a little more intense with each day that passes.
I can't imagine the the emotions you must be feeling! Just try to remember what an AWESOME adventure you about to go on and how many new memories and friends you'll make along the way!
Sounds like a great weekend, and trust me, you will always miss these people but you will make new amazing friends and there are always visits!!
Serious amount of emotions involved in a move like the one you're making. Give yourself some leeway even if the negative is for more than 10 minutes a day.
I die for those ninja cookie cutters. Those are hilarious.
It took most of my willpower to not look up ninjabread man cookie cutters and buy all of them right now.
HURRAY FOR NEW ADVENTURES! You're going to have SO much fun 🙂
looks like so much fun! minus the overwhelming emotions of having to be away from everyone in a short period of time! that watermelon wheat looks very intriguing! i'll have to find some around here! and those ninja cookie cutters…amazing.
Big changes up ahead but with change also come the ability to experience new things. While still appreciating the old!
Those ninja cookie cutters rock my socks. Too bad I don't bake.
A huge move like the one you are about to do is scary. I'm impressed you only take those 10 minutes!
LOOOOOOL, Those Ninjabread Men just literally made me laugh out loud!! How was that watermelon beer? I recently had a watermelon beer and a giant fair, it had chunks of watermelon in it. It was interesting, to say the least!!
