Can you believe it’s already November? The holidays will be here any minute. This will be a very crazy month for us with the move. Here is another edition of what I’m doing right now…
Reading – I’m flying through the Janet Evanovich books. I bought them a few years ago and never read them. I want to leave the full set for my mother in law, but I’m only through the first 8. They fly by so quickly. I’m excited to get back to my 2013 list once the move has happened.
Eating – As much Pizza Luce baked potato pizza as possible. I’m also working on getting my fill of my favorite Minnesota restaurants before I leave. Tonight we are going to a new restaurant (for us) to celebrate Brian’s birthday and I can’t wait to stuff my face.
Watching – The usual favorites – How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and everything on Bravo. The Beverly Hills ladies are back this evening and I’m pretty excited. We have one TV left and no couches, but I will happily park it on the air mattress and watch the crazy.
Missing – Sawyer, my nephew. I saw him on Saturday, but I wanted to get as much time in with the little nugget as I can before I leave. I also miss my bed. The pod left on Saturday and the air mattress is not the same.
Anticipating – This move. We leave on Saturday. There is still quite a bit left to do around our house and a few people we want to spend a little extra time with. I’m nervous, sad, scared, excited. I’m pretty much a crazy person right now.
Wishing for – good weather for our road trip this weekend. Also, I’m wishing that the EZ Pass I ordered a few weeks ago shows up before we go. Paying tolls SUCKS and I just want to stick the magical box in the car and cruise right through.
Drinking – Dunn Bros Coffee – I will miss it very much.
Laughing at – the Halloween costumes I saw this weekend. My favorite costume of the year goes to Cathryn.
Loving – the amount of love and support we have received from family & friends over the last few weeks. I just want to soak it all in. On a less serious/cheesy note, I am loving this whole “vlogging” thing. I always wonder what people sound like when I’m reading their stories and this gives you the chance to hear them. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out this lady.
Beginning – a whole new chapter in life. We are leaving home and this comfortable little bubble for a big adventure. Holy smokes.

Wow, that tree is effing amazing. I need to know more of this baked potato pizza that you speak of.
I too love listening to vlogs…however, I have the world's worst voice on camera. It sounds like I am holding my nose. I won't even record my own voicemail message. I don't see any vlogs in my future!
your nephew is absolutely precious! Love that Ace Venture outfit, hilarious!
as much as i love san diego, we do lack fall foliage. Potato pizza rocks. We have a pizza place that makes mashed potato bacon pizza…so amazing.
ACE VENTURA WINS EVERYTHING! i love that movie.
good luck with the move and cheers to your new future! 🙂
