I’m way too excited to do anything brilliant today.  So instead, I will tell you the 10 things I’m most excited about along with pictures of dog to illustrate.

1.  2 of our best friends are flying in tonight to spend the holiday weekend with us.  We are going to eat so much good food, enjoy so many good drinks and so much laughing.  I’m going to tackle them when I see them at the airport.
2.  It’s birthday weekend which means the ultimate excuse to treat yoself OVER AND OVER again.  Plus, my husband & I have birthdays only one day apart so it’s double the celebrations.  Cupcakes, cocktails, 3 days of Sunday strolling, lots of brunching and maybe even a Broadway show.
3.  Our trip to Minnesota is quickly approaching and our plans are all locked in.  We will be running around non-stop while getting a bunch of work projects done.  It’s going to feel like a week long marathon, but it will be so much fun.
4.  The Rangers are back in NYC tonight.  I will not be shelling out $500 for 2 standing room tickets, but I’ll be jumping and yelling in my living room watching the game.  I also will gladly take any tickets as a birthday gift.
5.  My inbox is under 100, which means I will be able to knock it out of the park and get those cleaned up before my 4 day weekend.
6.  I wore pink pajama pants last night and then watched Mean Girls and thought I was super funny.  My husband didn’t get it.  I’m going to make him wear pink next Wednesday.
7.  We cleaned out our closet and dresser to put away the winter clothes and filled another 6 garbage bags with donations.  I must remind you, we just got rid of the majority of our belongings in November to move and we were able to fill another 6 BAGS with clothes that don’t fit or that we don’t wear.
8.  Congrats to Vivian for winning the birthday giveaway!!!!  I’m so excited for you to get to check out the BeNiceBox especially since the theme is food šŸ™‚
9.  I found out that Ice-T is my neighbor and I think that’s kind of cool.  And by neighbor, I just know that he shops at all the same stores as me… I have no idea where he actually lives.  I could be totally wrong.  (he wears pink on Wednesdays too)
10.  I have a few things scheduled for the next few days, but I will be away from the blogworld enjoying the most epic kick off to summer week (plus crazy work days).  I will miss you, but I’m excited to be out on the road.  Follow me on Instagram @stephgregerson if you want to keep up on our adventures.
