It’s Wednesday and my mind is bouncing all over the place. I have 7 conference calls today which seems a bit excessive. Busy, busy, busy. I leave you with a random assortment of thoughts.
I’m not rushing out to get an iWatch. I have no interest to have my phone constantly in my sight. I like to be able to put it away in my purse or leave it at home somedays. It’s liberating.
I have not been good about sending snail mail recently.
I’ve started unfriending people on Facebook if they ask me to play Candy Crush. It’s annoying and I’ve tried blocking it a bunch.
My dog has that $10 shirt from PetSmart (from Grandma) and I feel like that means I should get the matching Kate Spade bag. I think it would be totally justified.
I haven’t picked up a book since mid August. I love reading, so this is a little weird.
I’ve been doing #100happydays on Instagram and I have no idea what day I’m on.
I have a weird obsession with 30 day challenges. I’m halfway through my 30 day yoga challenge and I just committed myself to a blogging challenge where I have to post something everyday in October. If you want more info on that one, go check out Helene’s Post.
My closet needs a serious deep cleaning and purge. I put StitchFix on hold for next month because I don’t have any room left for more clothes. It’s time to get rid of some stuff. I’m sad and happy at the same time.
I still think the Humpday commercials are funny.
You obviously need that bag. No questions.
And I'm impressed you're going to attempt 30 days of straight blogging. You can do it!! And of course I'll be here to read along when you do 🙂
I hate the idea of an iwatch. Like if I want to see what's happening on my phone I'll take it out of my pocket! I try not to hate people who send me candy crush requests TOO much, unless it's multiple times, because I had a friend say that they swore they never meant to send me anything at all. Apparently CC is a little sneaky.
I love 30 day challenges! I think I am going to have to commit to Blogtober!
7 conference calls?! Ugh! Way too many for sure! I need to clean/purge my closet but I have all these clothes that are kinda big and all these clothes that are kinda small… and only a few that work right now.
Wow SEVEN conference calls?? Yes, I'd say that's a bit excessive! Ugh, I hate Candy Crush and all those FB games too!
Haha! I would have totally lost count of what day I was on too if I did #100dayshappy. 🙂
Unfriending people on Facebook is probably one of my biggest joys in life.
That shirt is adorable, and most definitely justifies the Kate Spade purchase.
Girrrrl…last night while innocently putting away laundry I purged a ton of clothes. It felt awesome. I'm upgrading pieces so it had to be done. If it's not perfect for me or much loved, it's gone.
I hate the blog challenges because I feel like I'm reading 30 of the same posts every day for 30 days. That being said, if I love the topic, I'll do it that day or within that week.
I keep meaning to start 100 days of happy. I love seeing yours on IG.
I specifically did not link Candy Crush to my Facebook so I could not accidentally send people invites. Also, now that I finally caved and play, I understand that invites have nothing to do with the person wanting you to play, it's all about them getting free lives or not having to wait a few days to be allowed into the next level/area. Also I'm mildly ashamed that I know all this.
I did a good closet purge a few months back, donated a bunch and then took a huge pile to the resale shop and made about $170 back! Score! …then Labor Day came with all its sales and totally screwed me. It's a vicious cycle! I'm still a fan of the Hump Day commercials, too! Good luck with those 7 conference calls…ugh!
I'm with you. I don't want any friedn requests on those dang internet games. I just don't care if you have to wait 3 days for the chocolate spaceship to take you to the next level.
I love 30 day challenges too!
I still love that commercial. I still ask people what day it is in that voice. I feel negative parts sorry for it! also, have you heard of ThredUp? They'll send you a bag that you can stuff with all of the clothes you clean out of your closet, sell what they can on consignment, and donate the rest for you!
you need the bag, i daresay. i am normally really good with purging, but lately i have been collecting more 'investment' items rather than this looks cute for 5 minutes items, so when i went to purge last month, i didnt want to get rid of anything. lol
Purging my clothes/shoes is one of the worst things in the world… it's EXACTLY like throwing a child away. EXACTLY. ;P
dear blogger – YOU SUCK. thanks for eating my comment 🙁
i wasn't impressed with apple's presentation. while the iphone looks pretty, the specs are the same that the nexus 4 had TWO YEARS ago. wtf, apple? and the iwatch…meh. we'll see about the battery life.
thanks for linking up!

I love unfriending people on Facebook. I did a major purge a while ago and now do it whenever someone sends too many dumb game requests or equally annoying things.
I go through random spurts of unfriending people on facebook too. It's like some sort of therapy for me, I don't even know. & the geico commercials still make me laugh as well!
I love these random thoughts of yours. I'm so with you on the iwatch thing (NO!) and the candy crush requests (HELL NO!).
As a lot of the commanders, I too go through a FB friend purge. It's very cleansing and cathartic. I really don't understand all these phone watches. Why is this necessary???
