I’m officially on my mini vacation to warm my body a little bit and have some girl time.  We are in the Fort Myers area for a long weekend.  It’s so nice being surrounded by palm trees and sunshine for a few days.

I figured I’d keep it short and sweet today.  Here are 5 things I’m excited about this weekend:

1.  Day of fun #1 – Each of us planned a day of activities to surprise the other with.  Kirsten planned today, so I have no idea what we are doing.  I was told to wear my swimsuit and bring a change of clothes.  That’s it.

2.  Day of fun #2 – I planned tomorrow, so I know how much fun we are going to have and I’m super excited.  Planning our trip this way gave each of us a way to surprise the other person and to plan activities that we might not have normally planned.

3.  Sunday will be our warmest day, so you will find us near the pool/beach.  I’ll be reading all day long and then finishing the day watching Amy & Tina kill it at the Globes.

4.  This is the maiden voyage of the GoPro.  It’s currently wearing something that looks like a life vest and I can’t wait to take it on our adventures.
