Inspired by our leader’s yearly update last night, I figured I’d give you all an update on me. That’s what this blog is for, right?
I love Moscow Mules this winter. I’ve loved them in the past too, but lately these have been my favorite. I also love Mac & Cheese and wish that it was a diet food. Cheese + Pasta = pure happiness.
Also, according to that picture, I look tired and I need a haircut.
My MacBook Pro gave me the white screen of death last night. I had a very sad moment and then I spent hours researching from my iPad (I have a bit of an Apple problem) and I have scheduled surgery to take place in my living room this evening. I have a few smart friends on speed dial if this all goes bad.
This is the slow season in my industry. That means completely the opposite for me. This is the time of year to do more training, more improvements and more work. My days have been long and exhausting. My escape to Florida was a nice breather and I have another one in a few weeks, but I need to just kill for a few months and get some big projects checked off the list and I’ll have some daylight back.
I turn 30 this year. My 30 before 30 list is getting smaller and smaller and I have some big plans in the next few months to finish this up. This has been one of my best decisions ever.
I’ve been a bad blogger lately. I need to get back into my nightly routine but lately I’ve been staring at a computer screen so long each day that have no interest in the evenings. I’m going to get into a new rhythm that involves a little more productivity on the weekends.
I cancelled Stitch Fix for a while. The last few haven’t been quite as fun and I felt like I was trying too hard to like things, so I put it on pause for a while. It’s time to start wearing the things I already have in my closet.
The travel bug has really bit me and I’m having a blast planning our trips for this year. We are saving as much money as possible (like cancelling Stitch Fix) so that we can do some awesome things this year.
Last, but not least – a few plugs. If you are interested in social media & marketing, go check out my friend Christina’s giveaway here. Also, a huge thank you to those that have donated and helped me get a little closer to my goal for the MS Climb. Fundraising page is here if you are interested.
Tell me what is happening with you.
I love this inspiration for a post/update! I probably should do one of these myself soon! Travel bug is in full force for me as well and I've been looking at travel websites/deals DAILY!! I also need a haircut… is it bad that I haven't had one since I chopped and donated back in JULY?! yikes!
Thanks for the shout-out lady! Looking forward to new connections and giving away this awesome book!! I JUST discovered Moscow Mules–where have I been?! And looking forward to seeing you wrap up your 30 before 30 list–so close! 🙂
Had my first Moscow Mule last month and it was really good! Have to stay off of them for the calories though 🙁 sad.
I have never tried a Moscow Mule! I also had to google what it was (shame on me!), but I'm not a massive cocktail lover anyway 🙂
Your 30 before 30 list looks awesome too, well done on nearly completing it… Gives me hope for getting mine finished in 2 years!
What a cool post idea! I've never had a Moscow Mule but I LOVE those mugs they come in! So pretty! I hope they are able to fix your MacBook! We had a customer (with our cake business) spill water on ours a couple of years ago and it completely killed it. Sad day. 🙁
I love that you're so close to finishing your 30 Before 30! I'm so afraid that I won't get mine all knocked off! I still have over 4 years though so maybe I should chill out with that fear…
More State of Steph's! This is awesome! And I'm on a moscow mule kick, too!
Every day this week I've been like self, you look tired. And you need a hair color
I''ve never had a Moscow Mule. I didn't even know they were a thing until a few months ago. I love the copper mugs though, is it cool to drink regular water out of them? Too bad if not because that's what I use them for.
I'm working on making my 40 before 40 list. Some of the things are big and I need the full two years to do them. I turn 38 in March.
What in God's name is a Moscow Mule?
I agree with you, It's so hard to get motivated to blog when you work at a desk all day. I'm finding that my favorite time to sneak in blog posts now is on my lunch break (when I can get one!)
Moscow Mules and Mac & Cheese? Yes, please!
