I feel like the month of May lasted one week. Now we are in summer mode and time just seems to be flying by.
Enjoying all the outdoor patios in our neighborhood. Before moving to Brooklyn, we only made it here for the occasional Saturday afternoon, but I had no idea how many places had awesome little patios. We sat outside last night at Three’s Brewing and the weather was perfection.
Adjusting back from Europe time. It’s only a six hour difference, but we found ourselves ready for bed at 8:30 and getting up at 4. We are slowly getting back to normal, but we aren’t rushing it because those early mornings are pretty amazing.
Watching Game of Thrones on rainy days. The new season comes out in about 6 weeks and we wanted to rewatch as much as we could. Also, I caught up with some new movies on the plane. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was so much better than I thought it would be.
Reading this book which I ended up buying because I couldn’t renew it at the library and I didn’t have enough reading time on vacation to finish it. I’m glad I did though because then I can pass it along to other friends when I’m done.
Using this Beautycounter balancing mist and I love it.
In need of a deep clean of the apartment. Now that we are back from vacation and not traveling for work every week, it’s time to reorganize and purge a little bit. Also, I still haven’t really shared pictures of our little home and I love it so much, so I want to do that in the next week or so.
Missing the fun of vacation planning. We have a trip scheduled for August to the PNW to explore Seattle and check out at least one national park, so I think we can start jumping into that a little more.
Eating Strawberries. Tonight, we are trying a Strawberry, Goat Cheese and Cucumber Salad from my favorite cookbook.
Where are you heading on vacation this Summer? Any favorites in the Seattle area?
Linking up with these awesome ladies.
i can't wait for this season's GoT. I also heard that it's going to be a short season (only 7 or 8 episodes). Rude.
Ocracoke Island and Emerald Isle this summer for us – Ocracoke is new, Emerald Isle is a repeat.
I would like to get up at 4:30a and go to bed at 9p every day.
It's crazy how much jet lag messes you up! I live for planning vacations. As soon as we're back from one I have to get the next one going. Haha! I'm a born and raised PNW girl (I live 50 minutes from Seattle) so if you have any questions or need tips, let me know!
not gonna lie, coming back from holiday, i love the ridiculously early morning wake ups. glad i'm not alone haha. i need to rewatch/catch up on game of thrones. i have never been to seattle but it is definitely on our list. so jealous! vacation planning is my absolute favourite thing in the whole world. we have NO vacations planned or even dream-planned for a couple of years after our last big one next week. i'm not looking forward to the lack of planning. thanks for linking up with us and i'm sorry about my late comment!
