We are just barely into the fall season, but I’ve already check off an NFL game and the apple orchard. You have to move fast in Minnesota, because it can blizzard before Halloween here. Just because I’ve already punched a few things off my autumn card, I’m still putting a list together.

Porch Reading – It won’t last very long, but we have lots of fuzzy blankets and I want to enjoy my favorite room in the house as long as possible. Plus, I have at least six books from the library right now that all came in from my hold list at the same time, so I have lots of reading to take care of.

Take a Break from Snacks – I know this seems weird, but I feel like I’ve been eating too much crap. It’s the kind of crap that you can find in the aisles of a gas station. No candy, chips or packaged snacks like that. There will be plenty of awesome homemade desserts and good meals this season.

Enjoy some big city time – We have a little Chicago and New York City time planned this month and I’m beyond excited. It will be super busy and I’ll probably wish I had scheduled more time at home with my fuzzy blankets, but YOLO.

Stick with the best skincare routine – Because winter skin sucks and it’s so dry.

Purge extra stuff – I need to try one of those decluttering challenges. I love getting rid of stuff, but when things are busy, I lack the motivation. I need a checklist and a deadline, so I’ll find the checklist and get this placed cleared of clutter before Thanksgiving.

Check out at least a couple new hiking spots – Cooler evenings that get darker earlier make me want to crawl under a blanket, but I feel so much better when I’ve gotten some fresh air.

ROCK THE VOTE because the elections are coming up quickly. Make sure you are registered to vote TODAY. Here is the website – click and register.

Hope it’s still fall like weather where you are instead of bordering on winter.
