We also started watching One Planet on Netflix. It is fascinating and beautiful and scary all at the same time. I’m still a little stuck on the tiny Flamingo chick stuck in the salt. Also, the end of the first episode with the icebergs. Have you watched any of this yet?
Did you know that Earth Day has a new theme every year? 2019 is “Protect our Species” and that feels extremely relevant to the things I’ve been learning about in New Zealand. They have a bunch of resources here. Each animal listed on the page has a link to resources and ways that you can help those animals. Which one are you pledging to help this year?
Do you have a five year plan? You should make sure that part of it is focused on Mother Earth. The research is showing that we are pretty much screwed in a few years if nothing changes. Stop waiting for someone else to change – you are that somebody.
